My ex received a call from a special investigator saying that there was a restraining order against me and that I needed to call Shannon stone or five information to my lawyer but I needed to appear in court I've called the number to the central legal network and the phone just rings. The area code is 813 I know no one in Florida that would have a restraining order against me. Is this a scam?

I have been receiving calls from a collection agency and even one from a special investigator saying that I am to appear in court and to get a lawyer. When I called the number back the woman refused to give me any info regarding the court date and would not send me any paperwork on it. How am I supposed to go to court if I have not been summoned or received any notice about it. Is this a scam or should I be worried?

It appears to be a scam. Don't reveal any confidential information in the phone. Alternatively, I would advise you to visit the county court clerk office and check whether any case has really been filed against you.
