Hello , On 12/24/10 I took out a $300.00 interest loan from BMAC , I don't know what it stands for , however I had never used these services before so I was a little confused about the terms .
As it turns out I was being charged $50.00 every 2 weeks in interest , I thought it was going toward the balance , when I realized it wasn't I payed the loan off on 03/04/11, thats after paying $300.00 in interest . also I was given the money in cash .
Is that legal ? I live in Chicago IL .
Thank you , M.

You've been paid in cash!!! Quite surprising as the lender normally transfers the money to the checking account of the borrowers. Your best bet - contact an attorney and discuss the matter with him/her.
