ARM of FL violated C&D that THEY sent to me!

On Jan. 31, I received a fax from ARM of FL, letting me know that they had received my complaint against Paychecktoday, whom they were collecting for. They said that since they had received the complaint, they were sending the file back to their client as a cease and desist. It then states "You will no longer receive any calls or correspondence from our office."
Beginning 2 days ago, they have started calling me again. I still have their voice mails, as well as snapped photos of their number with the date and time on my caller ID. Is there a time limit on the Cease & Desist, or have they violated my rights under FDCPA?

Did you answer the call?? Technically under the FDCPA they are permitted one final call to inform you of the final disposition. Read the FDCPA.

As SoapLady said, they are allowed to make one final "contact" with you. Calling without an answer or leaving a voice message doesn't constitute "contact." Pick up the phone the next time they call and see what they want.
