i have received at least 2 calls from individuals requesting that I call this company Capital Associate and square away my debts. I informed them I have contracted a payday loan help company to deal these individuals; they keep tell me that we have to serve me some paper at my job or my house is I don't take take care of this, but they never have identified themselves as police officer or any type of law official. When I do contact the company (legal dept) she claimed that they don't work with consolidation company and she will work out a settlement with me. I ask them have my rep contacting them and she replys with a no answer. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

If so, please provide the name of the company(s), the amount of the loans and how much you've paid back, whether the loans were online or storefront, and what State you live in. With that information the people here will be able to give you more advice. Also, would you by chance have the telephone number of the company that called you? It's possible others who post here have dealt with the same company.

Sounds like a scam to me. Don't ever agree to a debt over the phone. Ask the company to send you a validation letter of the debt. There are so many people out there pretending to be what they are not to scare people into paying them money. If you've ever applied for a Pay Day Loan this could be where the problem is coming from.
