I have a few payday loans out and could really use help.

I have one with check n go i got 800 paid them over 200 and currently owe them 1006

I have one with ace cash express i owe them 911 I have already paid them over 800 on a 1000 loan

i have one with loanpoint usa i borrowed 600 paid them 180 and they say i owe them 960

I also have one with gateways. I borrowed 300 and they will not even tell me how much i owe them because they said it is now in collections.

Please help me

If these companies don't have the license to operate in your state, then you won't have to pay any interest or other related fees. You'll only need to pay the principal amount. However, if these companies are legal, then I would suggest you to go for payday loan debt settlement or payday loan consolidation. This will help you pay off the debts.

As far as your loan with Gateways is concerned, you should ask the collection agency to send you a debt validation letter. This way, you can know about the correct debt amount and make payment arrangements accordingly.

I believe that Check n Go & Ace Cash Express are CSOs in Texas. You will need to make payment arrangements with them. Loanpoint USA, you will need to pay the difference of what you owe on principal, but you owe them nothing else...as they are illegal. Send them a Cease & Desist letter AFTER you close bank account.

As for Gateway, I would suggest asking for a letter of debt validation. I don't know if they are legal or not in Texas though.

Sorry, just realized you already stated you live in TX :) OK, so, Check 'n Go and Ace Cash Express are legal lenders. I would call them and ask for an extended payment plan. Check 'n Go is a member of the CSFA and should break your current balance into 4 equal payments due over your next 4 paydays. Ace isn't a member but may do the same for you.

Your other 2 lenders are not licensed in TX. You are only required to pay them back the amount borrowed. You do not have to pay fees or interest. Your best bet is to immediately close your checking account, make arrangements with the 2 lenders you have that are legal and then follow the advice in this thread for the others.

Let's just hope Jennifer is better than most ACE folks I have dealt with. Even after complaints filed with the BBB and AG in Texas, my wife is still getting harassing phone calls, them discussing the debt, as well as the people yelling at her and calling her a liar, etc. They keep saying they will "have to go advance this" but always just imply what they will do and haven't (as of yet) said just what it is they may do. Just waiting for them to break the law further, especially since all of this is in my name and not hers, but they refuse to call when I am home, and have even told her they will not call back when i get home, but will call her 2-3 times in a row knowing damn well what time I get off work and get home because she tells them everytime they call. Yet they continue calling at 8 and 3 every weekday.
