PA payday loan need help!!!

Ok, I am new here. I have a payday loan thru Global Group Holdings LLC /aka Midland Companies. I took out this "loan" around 02/2010 (yea that long ago) and have been paying $60.00 every 2 weeks on a $200.00 advance. I have been trying to get a hold of them to work out details on paying down the balance, but only get a answering machine. I have paid over $1560.00 ($60.00 a week X a min of 26 weeks= $1560.00) and I still owe the original balance of $200.00. I live in PA and did this over the internet. I need help and I am confused as to who to goto. I used my parents as a refrence and dont want them calling and screwing with them, other wise I would just close my bank account !!!!!

Please help and advise.

Yes, you need to close your account. As far as stopping them from calling your parents, whether you leave your account open or not, they will eventually call, because they are nothing more than Internet criminals. Payday loans are illegal in PA. They can't do anything to you legally, but they can make your life miserable. Make sure you close your account so they can't withdraw any more money. Stop paying them. Follow instructions suggested by this site and request a refund.

They will turn your account over to collection agency/lawyer for collections, but stand firm. In the end you will prevail.
