They keep contacting my husband at work and told me that they wouldn't quit calling him there because they are going to have to serve a summons to him at work. First off they don't call you and warn you they are going to serve you a summons and second after talking to the Galveston County District Attorney - the DA's office will not file on people for a bad check for a payday loan. They said the company took the check knowing it wasn't any good. United told me that this was all my husbands fault because he didn't "man up" and pay his bills.

well your husband needs to start just hanging up on the losers.you need to do the same.that is after you file police reports for the harrassment.you see no place will continuosly call and threaten that unless they are a bottomfeeding slime of a scam.file the report and do not engage them.hang up,or ignore them.tell your husband to do he same.he should inform his boss and co-workers that this is a scam.they will tire of getting hung up on without a word.trust me on that.

You too, I had someone call and they gave all sorts of confidential information on the person they were calling for. This person named Gabriel Sanchez, 1-888-292-9606 from United claims to be some type of official, but when you call Gabriel Sanchez back he does not work there, however there is a Mr. Herrera that answers the phone and will tell you there is no Gabriel Sanchez there, but ask "do you have a case number"?. I think this particular person at United that keeps harrassing people at work have code names assigned to them, so they (Herrera) will know who the call is from. Oh another thing ALL calls are recorded. Telephone companies record ALL of them.

I also an in litigation and these people sent a process server and police officer to my home so they are very serious and very real. I received the summons and process for court and would be in jail right now if I did not set up some type of arrangement. They have the authority and will come after you. Just PAY back your loans and be done with it. They will sue you and you will go to jail for Check and Bank Fraud. Trust ME!!! I was at the courts trying to pay this off. GOOD LUCK

My fiance's mother keeps getting calls from these people saying they want to serve my fiance with papers about a lawsuit over an unpaid payday loan. Problem is payday loan was obtained by his now ex wife on HER email using HIS information fraudulently (but we can't charge her with fraud because the kids will hate us). We have asked three times for them to send us all the documents and proof but so far nothing. Divorce papers clearly say she has to pay HER debts (we can prove this one is hers). UL acknowledged it is HER debt but want my fiance to pay anyway. I want their address so I can send them a cease and desist letter saying to only contact us via US MAIL and stop calling his mother who thinks these are legitimate attorneys trying to take her son to court. I have tried getting it by other means with no luck. We are not paying these people. I almost hope they take us to court. I would love to see what a judge has to say about the fraudulent activity.

Get a real job you cheating scumbags, stop trying to intimidate and scare honest hardworking people out of the money they earned. I haven't signed anything with you or your agency, I've never heard of you guys. So what, you got my name phone number from the phone book, wow good for you. Come after me, come to my home I've got video and audio taping 24/7 I'd love to talk to you and take any materials you wanna hand over with your prints on them. I'd love to get audio, video and fingerprints (physical evidence) of your attempted fraud.

omg! i just called them back and it had SCAM written all over. First off, a Ms. Strong wanted me to tell her my mother's social security number for verification. I told her no because I am not comfortable with giving such information to a company I don't even know. She went ahead and gave me information on this defaulted loan that my mother never opened up. Then once she said that she had subpoena bank documents and revealed to me that the person she is talking about is not even my mother, she demanded me to tell her my mother's full name and social. When I said no, she hung up on me. Wow, oh and I am a legal assistant so I know a thing or 2 about litigation. First, Ms. Strong insisted that the case is past litigation and that it is time to rectify the situation by paying. OK, you tell me over and over again at the beginning that you are not collection but a litigation firm so why are you to trying collecting? Geez, and when I had asked her to forward the filings to me since my mom was never served, she said that its past litigation...wtf? Get you story right, so are you a fake litigation firm or a fake collection agency?

BEWARE! If you happen to get one of these calls, ask for paperwork or something and never cough up any personal information!

So true! Don't listen to the garbage the guy above is shoveling your way. If you're going through this, just tell them you're filing BANKRUPTCY and to stop calling you. That helped me. They CANNOT do a thing to you. I have PLENTY attorney friends that have verified this. The number that called me was 866-574-3999. Just ignore them or file a police report. There's nothing they can do.

Im not defending this if it is a scam, but isnt the bigger scam people who take out a loan with no intention of paying it back.... last time I check that was called stealing. I took out a loan, i as well got this call, but I went ahead and paid it because I actually did take out the loan.

I did open a payday loan several years ago and I have been unemployed for a few years now due to the economy. I do not have any money to pay back and also I have barely surviving on the necessities right now. I got a call from United threatening me that a process sever was in my area on standby waiting to serve me, but they were giving me a courtesy call to see if I wanted to pay it off. They said if I paid them I wouldn't be CRIMINALLY sued for Inent to DeFraud a Financial Institution; Bad Check; Breach of Contract. I wanted to know what you guys think? But I wonder if they have a process server waiting to serve me, doesn't that mean they already FILED the papers with the court? Also can they come and arrest me? The lady at United told me that once it goes to court I may not even be able to pay it off. I would go to jail. I asked to speak with the "attorneys" they have there and she put me through to a "litigation coordinator", who is not an attorney and he said that the attorney to not speak to "you guys". Who are "you guys"? The consumers, he said. He also said that this account is now with them and they are the "end of the line." So what is the real deal?

the real deal is that united litigation is a sumeating, bottomfeeding scamola.do not even think about paying them, and stop talking to them.first file a police reports as the losers broke the law with their calls.then use the name and number to file AG,AND FTC complaints.then again ignore their sorry asses as they can't do a thing they state, and it's a waste of time to argue with wastes like them.that's the real deal.

Does any one know how I can stop them from calling my job. I told Jennifer Adams not to call me at work but now she is calling my co-workers. I went to the company UL said was sending me to collections and they have my file closed as paid in full. And the amount UL is saying I owe is not even close to the amout of the loan I took out. The loan company said they have anouther customer stating the same.

I don't care what I owe to who. if I am willing to work with you and you are not upfront with me on your information that I request, you can shove off. I was very, very willing to work with them providing they produced the paper work and information I requested. I was not being unreasonable with them at all. They became beligerant with me and threatening to send someone to take me from my work or take me from my home. (FYI A-HOLES.....YOU HAVE THE WRONG ADDRESS!!!!)

I have dealt, unfortunately, with real litigation firms. And they are called ATTORNEYS. This place is a scam that gets your info and tries to muscle money from you.

The PDL companies they represent do not have licenses in most states to operate. So, they hire "firms" to scare people to pay. All complete scum.
