If I call a non profit solutions how wil lthis effect our credit? We have a personal Bank of America loan which we opened in 2007 to pay off a credit card and student loan and we took out more than we needed 45,000 since then we have 39,000 left and the loan is now lowered to 41,800. What is our options? My husband is in the military aand doesnt want anything to effect him.

You are dealing with a personal loan which is under contract. Going with a debtg management plan will more than likely tank your scores. You are dealing with a debt under contract or prom note, not a revolving account.
What are trying to do? Lower payments due to hardship? Lower interest? Need more information.
