I am coming to the point where my bills are coming in and there is just no money to pay them. NONE. Its embarrassing and I hate asking for help from my family. One because this is my fault and Two because they wont let me hear the end of it. I am strongly considering bankruptcy because I have no other choices...Is there anything else I could possibly do? Thank you for your help.

What type of bills are they? Credit card debt, personal loans?

I had the same problem, and let me tell you when i filed bk it was the biggest relief of my life. I did not tell my family anything, they don't need to know. When there's no money to pay, believe me they the creditors will come a knocking.:-|

But, it has a major affect on your credit report and unless you take steps to improve your credit, it will be a tough to get qualified for any kind of loan. Moreover, it is always advised that the person who wishes to file bankruptcy should contact a bankruptcy attorney and discuss his/her financial situation in detail with him/her and then decide which chapter of bankruptcy filing he/she should go for.
