How long can a medical bill stay on your credit report? In my case, its been over 10yrs.. Plus the insurance company claim they paid the bill.

It's 7 1/2 years from the default date. If your insurance company paid it, was there a balance? If the amount your insurance company paid was to be considered payment in full and you have proof of the payment, you should dispute it as invalid. If the account is still open, your fall-off clock hasn't even started yet.
