Civil Claim Judgement

I recently pulled my credit report and noticed a 'civil claim judgement' on it with plaintiff being Midland Funding LLC for the amount of close to $2000. I am not sure what this was, so I called them and they kept on insisting to give them my social security number. I told them that I would give them my name and if they can help me find out what this was, but they would not proceed further without my social security number, so I just hung up the phone. Can someone please help me on the next steps? I have no idea what this is and want to know how to get rid of this from my credit report. Thank you.
Look up the debt on the court who issued the judgments website.
Look up the debt on the court who issued the judgments website. If the debt is yours and were not served (look it up on the website) you can motion the court to overturn the judgment do it lack of service.
