I posted over in PDL help, but don't seem to be getting any replies! I am a little shaken and do not know what to do so if anyone has any advice I would really appreciate it! This all started a few months ago with the Indian scammers calling me! Now they do not call anymore unless they want to harrass me about life! However, I got a call last week from someone and I should have never answered cuz I did not know the # they were calling from, but I hung up when they asked for me. A few minutes later my mother calls and said that they called her and I needed to respond immediately to there phone call. It was Peachtree Law Center and Brad Daybell was the attorney. I called them back they were rude and kept turning off the recorder and then when I would get mad they would turn it back on. They said I have a PDL with Multiloan Source for $500 and they were collecting on it. When I told them to prove it, they said I they would mark that down as a refusal to pay the loan back! I said no, I just want some proof that this loan exists! They sent me a letter (1st one) and all is says is Multiloan Source $1200. I looked up all licenses to lend and collect in Florida and none are licensed not even Brad Daybell. Am I being scammed? I really need some fast help!

Hi!
Welcome to the forums!
You have the right to ask them to validate the debt. Ask them to send a proper debt validation letter. What they have sent you is not a proper debt validation letter. If they don't send a debt validation letter to you, then send a cease and desist letter. If they still disturbs you, take legal steps against them. The entire episode seems to be a scam. Ask your mother to not reveal any information if she receives a call from them again. Ask her to not be scared. Don't pay any money in a hurry.
