If these idiots call and ask for you before you tell who you are, ask them whats in reference. They will always say personal so thats when you tell them that you dont accept personal calls from strangers and hang up.

The callers say that because they are not allowed to talk to anyone about a collection except the person who owes the debt. They need to be sure it's you so they can give you the mini-miranda warning which is required by law.
