As you have not made the payments on the card for several months, so a lawsuit has been filed against you. You have to answer the summons properly. Contact the Citi card and explain to them that you want to settle the debts directly with them. Politely request them to withdraw the case against you. If they refuse to settle the debts or withdraw the case against you, then you need to consult a lawyer. The lawyer can help you deal with case in the right way.

Answer the summons. Look the rules for civil procedure for your state....it should be on the website of your county court.
Contact the attorneys office. It is not likely they will withdraw the suit....Citibank does not operate that way. They may drop it if you agree to settle within a short period of time. If that is not possible, and the suit goes thru, ask for a stipulated judgment which allows you to pay without them taking any action against you
