Can someone tell me the listed lenders are legal in kansas,
Cashnet USA
Check City
Speedy Cash
ACE Cash Express

Am i correct in saying if they are ilegal then I can negotiate just the lended amount if they haven't overcharged me?

CashNetUSA and Ace are both licensed lenders in KS. I would contact both and ask them to set you up on an extended payment plan. This will keep further interest/fees from accruing and your balance will be divided into 4 (sometimes more) equal payments, payable over your next 4 pay dates. I don't see that Check City or Speedy Cash are licensed in KS, unless they're operating under another name? Were these internet loans? How much did you borrow from each and how much have you paid so far?

Yes, but you don't negotiate, you just tell them that you are only required to repay the $500 principal because they are not licensed to lend in your state. You need to file complaints with your state's AG and the FTC. You will also need to close your checking account before you contact these people to revoke their authorization for withdrawing funds from your accounts. Get their mailing addresses and pay them via postal mail only with a money order.
