Ok so what does it mean if a PDL heeds your request to stop ACH and does not debt your account? The amount borrowed was 400.00 and have repaid 530.00 in fees and interest. 15 letters have been sent but no replies back, but they did not debit any money this week as they have the other 13 weeks. Do I call them and ask to talk to a supervisor about my PIF?

As long as your bank account is open, payday lenders (especially illegal one) are going to keep taking your money. Personally, I would close my bank account. You can try calling them and asking for a supervisor (tell them you are recording the conversation) because they are good at telling you one thing on the phone and then doing something completely different.

It could mean a lot of things. To cover your butt and protect your money....CLOSE THE ACCOUNT. They may wait and try at a different date. I've heard this happened to other people.

They may not give you a paid in full or a refund but you can keep trying. They may just leave you alone. (That happened to me)
