Got a call today saying I was being sued. Now what?

Got a call today saying I was being sued because I didn't pay a loan I borrowed but I told them I didnt receive any money.. the guy that said his name is steven Jones number 8183382220 told me I had to pay 800 hundred dollars today and fax a photo copy of my drivers license... is this legit or a scam,, Im really scared and dont wanna pay thousand of dollars if I have to go to court

I agree with Paul. Such scammers have become rampant these days. This is a tactic just to scare you and get some money out of your pocket. As Paul has suggested file a complaint and simply ignore the threats. They won't be able to take any actions against you.
