I just discovered something WONDERFUL that just saved me from having to come up with 330 bucks on Friday for a payday loan I cannot pay. I got up in the cycle of constant re-loaning and I put my foot down and said I won't do it anymore.

Basically, if your PDL is a member of the CFSA (cfsaa.net) then they HAVE to offer an extended payment program. I have to come up with 82.50 every two weeks, which is much better than 330.

I still have another loan out for 230, but I plan on paying it and shortening it a little a time. I am absolutely ecstatic because this really saved me. I hope it helps you all too!

So, is this the way to go, or is closing my account a better solution? I have the following loans out and some are almost paid up, others are not. I'm from NJ and am now being told that i only have to pay the principal. What should I do?

OneClick Credit $400 ($360)
Loanshop $600 ($360)
GRENTERPRISES $500 ($126)
Ameriloan $400 ($120)
Yellowdale $200 ($55)
Beacon Principal $200 ($0)
Brighton $200 ($0)
United Consumer $300 ($0)
Lakota Cash $300 ($0)
NEVER AGAIN WILL I DO THIS!

Lending of pdl is considered prohibited in the state of New Jersey. This means none of the payday lenders in this state are legal. You are required to pay only the principal amount as they are not licensed in your state. If you have already paid more than the principal amount to the illegal payday lenders, then ask them for the refund. You can request your bank manager to put a hard debit check on your bank account to stop unauthorized withdrawal. To know about how to deal with illegal payday lenders, glance through the following link:

:pI will tell you that Ameriloan will be a hard lender to get rid of so be prepared to receive unwanted calls and such but file complaints against all of the illegal lenders! I am in NJ too and maybe if the FTC, BBB and the AG gets enough maybe it will make them stand up and do something for their residents! LLoanshop wasn't a big problem for me once I sent them the letter they actually left me alone! Ameriloan is one of the worse they will tell you they are not bound by any state laws due to them being on Tribal land and they don't even fall under Federal laws. In but so many terms the FTC investigator told me I was doig the right thing by fighting he wasn't allowed to say to much because of federal law!
Make sure you close your bank accounts first this way they won't go in to them. Go to the first page of the payday loan help and look over the sample letters on dealing with an illegal lender and follow it. I joined in March of this year with 13 loans and I am now loan free and still fighting some of the lenders but I am not giving them my money. I also talmed to my bank and my job and made them aware of their illegal status. So cover you bank account first then become relentless in your fight!!!

We are all here for you!:p
