Hi Expert; I live in Texas and am being sued for not unpaid credit card bal, and legal paper also say's " a judgement MAY be taken against you". What exactly does that mean? :rolleyes:

It means that if you don't respond to the lawsuit and lose the case in the court, then the judgment order may be passed against you. Once your creditors secures the judgment order, they may garnish your wages. Usually, wage garnishment for the consumer debts in Texas is prohibited.
