Any item will remain in your credit report for 7 years. The medical accounts were reported on your credit report on 1/2005. As 7 years haven't passed, they will remain in your credit report.
As far as the new medical collections that has appeared in your credit report is concerned, you should pay off that amount and ask your creditor to update the account status. Quote:

I haven't heard of any such specific minimum amount that needs to be reported to the credit report. Whenever you default on your payments, whatever be the amount, the creditor has the rights to report it to the credit bureaus. You can of course ask your debt collector to validate the debt if you're not sure whether or not they own your account.
There is no minimum balance requirement to report to the CRA's.
