I did not have any contact with the CA until the court date. There is already a case filed. Is it possible to still cease and desist and request to deal with only the creditor at this point?

Nope....cease and desist will not stop the legal proceedings. T

Nope....cease and desist will not stop the legal proceedings. The law firm handling the case is the legal rep of the creditor....once the case is filed, you must deal with the lawyers.
