I was wondering if the following were legal in South Carolina.

Bottom Dollar Payday
The Loan Shop
UnitedCashLoan
American Credit Lines
Seaside Payday

I have closed my bank account because of an unauthorized transaction. I have sent email letters to verified address that they have sent me. I got a response from Bottom Dollar who won't work with me and The Loan shop which extended my due date.
I am expecting a run of ACH on Friday. I want to settlethis as fast as I can, I have learned my lesson.

Payday lending is legal in South Carolina. But the names of the companies that you've mentioned may not be licensed in your state. Thus, you would be liable for paying the principal balance amount only. Contact the South Carolina State Board of Financial Institutions in order to find out if the above mentioned payday lenders are legal in your state.
