Palisades corruption Agency

Palisades has broken every law pertaining to collections. It is a numbers game to them. They try to get every fool in America to pay them something whether it is owed debt or not. The older the debt, the more of the take they get. Say you owed $3000.00 on a car GM repo-ed cause you lost your job 9 years ago.
Palisades will get 95% of whatever they get from you. If they say you can pay $1500. and you agree, then they get to keep $1425.00. GM has already written the debt off of their books as a loss against their taxes. To go back and change this would cost them more than it is worth.
To get rid of these type of idiots. When they call or send you a letter, tell them in no uncertain terms, that they are never to call you again or write to you again. Then tell them that they need to contact your lawyer, that they need to call your lawyer or write to your lawyer, but to never contact you again. If they claim they need the name of your lawyer, you tell them, if they have all of this other information on you, then they damn sure should should have the name of your lawyer. Then hangup or end the letter.
It does not matter if you have a lawyer or not. Never give them a name.
This will have them scrambling and they will close your file within hours in most cases, because if a lawyer is involved, you are filing for bankruptcy and they know that they cannot collect at all from you.. They will quit calling you as they are waisting their time with you.
Now smile and know that you have the upper hand on a crook.

that is exactly right SOAPLADY palasaides has sued and will sue people.it's on other threads.now the majority are defaults for improper service,or venue and the times when someone has gone to court the person wins.they can and will take you to court so i don't recommend the OP'S advice unless you actually have an attorney,and/or are going to file BK.
