Help with Gurstel Chargo
Date: Wed, 04/27/2011 - 17:05
I need your help.
To make a long story short. I've been in South Korea for almost a year and I have a credit card with Chase that's about a year overdue. I found out that later that it was sold to Equable Ascent Financial (EAF). I then e-mailed (EAF) but I was later told that Gurstel Chargo (GC) is currently managing the account on EAF's behalf.
Here is the problem.
I e-mailed them several times to do a debt settlement. I've even sent several letters stating that I wanted to do a debt settlement. However, I've never received an reply to any of my e-mails or to any of my letters. I called them today and they asked me where I was residing and instead of telling them that I was in South Korea I told them I was in California because that's where I was from. They then told me that I needed to call someone else and then they asked me if I was willing to be put on hold while they get the number. I told them "yes," and they then put me on hold until the phone hung-up by itself. I then called them three more times and every time I called them they hung-up on me without saying a word.
What am I suppose to do now? I really want to resolve this problem but it seems to me that Gurstel doesn't want to. I appreciate any help that you guys can give me.

I will suggest you to contact them once again over the phone and
I will suggest you to contact them once again over the phone and try to get a settlement. However, if you're unable to get any help from them, then you can take help of the debt relief companies and they will help you in settling your debts with them.
Thank you.... I will try to give them a call again. I really hop
Thank you.... I will try to give them a call again. I really hope that everything will work out.
I called them and they said that my account is now being managed
I called them and they said that my account is now being managed by Legal Recovery. I've done some research about them and it seems like they're just as stubborn and ruthless as Gurstel Chargo.
