also, how long have some of you had these so-called agencies calling you? I am getting so tired of them and I am now having to change my work number because of so many calls. I keep getting different people, but one of them I haven't most of lately is from some guy who doesn't speak English good and he says the same thing every time, almost like it is a recording. I dont even know who any of these calls are representing anymore. One caller even mentioned that an associate of his had spoken with my work supervisor and called my supervisor by his correct name, but nothing has been mentioned to me about him getting this so-called phone call.
I have reported some to my attorney general (I live in NC) and had actually received a confirmed copy of the letter that was being sent to these companies, but I haven't had any other dealings with them. I cant even send out a cease and desist letter because these companies wont give you there mail addresses.
will these people eventually give up and leave me alone? or am I going to be cursed with their phone calls for the next coming years..

you need to do this.don't engage anybody who calls on these as not only are pdl's totally illegal in NC,but you are a non-garnishment state.so hang up without a word when they do call.have your boss and co-workers do the same.they will tire of hearing the click and nothing else.they are not worth the time to stress about.do that and again they will tire of the diss of the click.btw when i started that i had a codeword only family knew.my co-workers knew this fact as well.if an idiot didn't know the code,they got the click not even a word as idiots don't even deserve that courtesy.try that and i think you will be pleased.
