I plan on closing my bank account today or talking to the bank on how to keep them from ACHing my account this week. It's to late to get my paycheck hard copied, so maybe they will put a deposit only or something on it until I get the other account set up.
any advice it great. thank you
can you also tell me if any of these are actually legal in michigan, I searched but I am not sure if I am doing it correctly, Check n go did not show up and I am pretty sure that they are legal.

Check 'n Go and CashnetUSA are your only legal lenders. The others you only owe the principal amount. Follow the advice you've been reading and come back with any questions on details. Deposit only is a good option - request that of your bank.

Magnum and Cashjar were ok to deal with in my case. They let me pay the only the principle and then shut my account down. Use the advice here. Write the letters, e-mail or certify mail them and keep sending until you get a response. Your bank can put a deposit only on your account. However, you won't have access to the money that's in there unless your bank will transfer it to a new account. Remember you only morally owe the principal on the illegal loans. If you've over paid that request a refund!

for the Magnum I went through all my bank statements and added all the deposits from them and what they have taken out. these were the total of 4 loans in 9 months. the last one I still "owe" around 200.00 in principle, but the totals deposited to me on all 4 = around 1800 and the total that was taken out of my account for all of them was around 2330$, so do I have a right to say that the current one is PIF and I should be refunded 530, just to make a point? Quite a few of these "companies" are in the same situation with "total deposited" vrs "total ACH's"
