Served with a lawsuit from CACH LLC. what to do now?

Served with a lawsuit from CACH LLC, had asked for validation and all they sent were copies of statements from the origional creditor, nothing else with amount owed, interest rate and how it was figured and what % or proof that they were authorized to collect the debt etc. What is or should our next step be. It is a medical debt and we are willing to settle it but, not for all the money that they are saying we owe. A Littlle help please.

Make sure you answer the suit! During discovery you can demand to see documentation. Medical collections don't usually have any interest rate so they shouldn't be charging one..unless somewhere in your signed documents allows this....make sure to check.
