I recently got a collection letter from Guglielmo and Ass.They are threatening a law suit for a credit card debt.Would it be wise to offer a settlement with them,if so what percentage should I offer,They are a Junk Debt collector.

This is what I got off their website....this does not point to be a 100% JDB. Discover has a tendancy to sue....have you tried calling and asking them if they still own the debt?

I have found that most companies will try and settle the debt for a certain percentage. Each company is different. The issue then becomes can you come up with the money if they agree on a settlement. Most people in debt don't have the cash if a company says ok to a settlement.
