can someone please explain to me how do these debt collectors call me with their number showing as a local number from my city, but then they give me an 855- number to return call, which is in another state?
I had my phone number changed at work because these people kept calling me at work and now one of them has somehow managed to get my new number. A woman with an accent called from CPD, the number that showed up on my caller id was 336-678-7016, which seems to be a landline from my city, but the number they gave me back to call was 855-227-2728.

easy they use a signal bounce and they spoof caller id.since you
