The laws regarding payday loans vary from state to state, and then as far as details go, they can vary within those state laws from company to company. Some companies are more easy on their paydates then others. I know some will go a month, while others will only go 2 weeks. But this forum is more for helping you get out of debt, out of the payday loan trap. I would recommend browsing through these forums to help you get started in ridding yourself of this payday loan which eats through your money. You will feel much better, trust me. I was in a bad trap myself, and I am working through the process of getting out of it thanks to this website. My last 3 paychecks have all been to myself, rather than half each time going to a payday loan company, and it feels great. So the first step to do, would be to figure out if this loan is legal or not. If the loan is from a website, there is a good chance it may be illegal. If it is a website, search these forums for the company name, and you can find out whether it is legal or not. If its from a storefront, then chances are its legal. If that is the case, I would go in and try and work out a payment plan with them. Most will do so. In Washington State where I'm from they have to work out a payment plan, even after your first loan. That will stop you from paying the enormous finance charges. Good luck, everyone here is very helpful, and here to help.
