Alright I have taken out payday loans that I should not have taken out. It was a foolish mistake and I plan to remedy it soon.
I closed my account and e-mailed out the letters stating I was revoking all ACH debits, etc.
I live in Alabama and none of the payday loan companies are licensed in my state. They have to be licensed to do business so they are illegal in my state for allowing these loans to be taken out. I am in contact with my State Department of Banking and they are going to try and help me out.
Well, I got a call from Fox Enterprise stating that my state's laws did not apply and they did not have to be licensed because they are an offshore company. I have since discovered there are more than a couple of mine that are offshore. He kept asking me where I got the letter from and such. I told him that I said in the letter I would be happy to pay the principal due but not a cent more. I said that I would not give them my bank account info and would instead pay them via a cashier, money order, or prepaid visa/mc if he would give me an address to send it to. He refused and said if they didn't get there money they would send me to a collections agency. I don't know what country they are located in but wondered if there is anything else I can do.
I am sure the director of the state banking department will send some of the info I am sending to her to our attorney general.
How is it that offshore companies can legally loan in the United States or are they running operations under the radar so as not to get caught.
Looking forward to hearing from others who have dealt with this particular group and what they did to get rid of them.

offshore companies are the most illegal.they say those things to try and sway you.don't buy it,and check to see how much was debited before default.those debits get deducted from the principle which is all you owe.check it,you might be suprised by how little if anything you truly owe these places.

I have sent my information with amounts paid to the Director of State Banks(including deferred presentation loans aka payday loans). Luckily, I closed my account before they got much so I still owe principal which I am willing to pay if they will give me an address to send a wire gram to or money order or some form of payment that does not include my bank account information.
The guy even asked why I started investigating things, I wanted to tell him because I have had people try to scam me over payday loans I never had so I wanted to be sure what was legal and illegal in my state. No license then you are illegal. They fly under the radar to avoid paying business taxes so believe me when I say the state of Alabama will be on their tails because they don't like people to take their money(they even delay tax refunds until the last absolute minute). I am sure they are thinking about any lost revenue they could have gotten from these illegal companies.
So has anyone else dealt with this company? I have heard it goes by King Marketing and several other names so very curious what others have experienced when dealing with this company.
