Well they cant file a fraud charge against you.....they have no proof of a fraud particularly if they cannot provide you with the paperwork.

Send a DV IN WRITING disputing the debt. Tell them to prove that you owe it or to bug off. Send certified mail, return receipt requested. You wont hear from them again more than likely.

thank you soap lady for the response. they told me that they will file the fraud case against me tomorrow if i dont send any payment today. i didnt call them back anymore since i dont have the money to pay them. but how do i know if they a legitimate? are they like a collections agency? thank you again.

Debts are civil, not criminal...they cannot file any charge against you. Get their fax number and fax them a cease and desist. Mail one too...

You know...I just googled them and couldnt even find a website.....seems to me they are a scam. Try getting an address...it they refuse, tell them you reporting them to the FTC, AG;s office and your local police department. They probably wont call you back.

their website is "www.internationaladr.org" and i also have their address. just confused why they don't want to provide me with proof of what they claimed that i owe. i guess i just have to wait and see what happens next. thanks soaplady!
