I have spent a hour trying to register on site, sorry, I have an installment loan with check n go in Cal. I got $2500 to be paid back 16 installments. The installment sched. did not match my paydays and they told me they would hold over pmt till payday, since my paydays did not match installment dates on contract. I was paying $289 2 X month. I kept asking when my last pmt was and 2 or 3 times was told in store it was end of March, Again at end of Feb. I was told verbally end of march was my last pmt because my paydays did not match intallment agreement dates. When I went in MArch 30th they said you owe 2 more installments.I told them I have paid over $4,000 and refuse to pay a dime more. Now collection calls from 213-304-8114. at work, can they garnish or sue for 2 installments on interest only? sorry for extensive question.They refused to return my post dated checks and tried to cash them, I put stop pay on them as I feel I paid off month early and dont owe more than $4,000 paid already! HELP!

What happened to other threads that stated if you paid the princ

What happened to other threads that stated if you paid the principal your paid in full. I regret but disagree. Check n go offers reduction of fees to pay off early. By their records, I actually should have a month credit on interest.

You said it was an installment loan not a payday loan. Installment loans are legal. That is why I responded the way that I did. Is you loan legal in CA?

How can you tell? Its from a payday loan store but payable in installments. Im not sure. Its ok, I've dealt with worse. For $578, I dont see them taking this too far. Thank you, for your help. Is there a website to see who is licensed to do business in California as payday loan operation?
