Summoned by love beal and nixon
Date: Mon, 05/23/2011 - 11:47
I recently got a summons from love beal and nixon. I also have been receiving letters but ive been ignoring them. Upon getting the summons i called and asked who the original creditor was and the operator said it was cap one which was bought by midland funding. I also ased the original amount and they said it was 1000. The last letter i got from them said i owed 2000. The summons says im being sued for 1800. The operator says if i can pay 1300 i would be saving 700 but i hve to pay by the 25th of this month. Anyone have any advice? I dont have the 1300
well respond to the summons,in responding motion for validation
well respond to the summons,in responding motion for validation during discovery as they have several figures and chances are as you stated they bought the debt.therefore you are entitled to validation, and make them prove their case.alot of people have beat midland in court so respond and again make them prove this.
Why did you ignore the letters and not send a DV letter? As Pau
Why did you ignore the letters and not send a DV letter? As Paul said, answer the summons, if you don't and it's legit they'll receive a default judgement. Also, call the clerk of court in your county/city to verify the summons is legit.
