So I get a call yesterday from 888-405-1644 that left messages on my cell, at work and even called my parents...which I don't live with. They stated they were trying to process a complaint against me and needed me to call them. I tried several times to call only because I couldn't locate the number or name anywher and only got voice mail. Today I get a return call from a lady named Asia. She states that they have a complaint filed from cash supply on a "hot check" I wrote to them in 2006. The funny thing is it was from a bank I hadn't used since 2003. When I asked her to send me paperwork showing I had done this since I have no recollection of it and didn't bank there then she said that that don't have that info only the amount due and the creditor and they only process the court documents and if I wanted to dispute I'd have to dispute that in court with the judge...I told her fine, to send out the papers and would give them to my sister who was a lawyer since last time I checked the statue of limitations in Texas was 4 yrs. She was actually very nice and didn't get ugly with me but I found it odd that they claimed to have no info what so ever. Anyway, just thought I'd post this since I was unable to find any info and this might help someone.

well she was nice after you stated in a confident manner about your states SOL and that you had a lawyer.the fact that it's your sister is imaterial.what is material is that this "woman"broke the law hand over fist.you really need to use that number to file a police report.i practically guarantee they will call back.your confident tone caught her off guard.this captial recovery is a complete bottomfeeder.they need to be reported to your AG as well.again use the number you have to do this.again just because you caught her off guard doesn't mean they won't call back.
