Can they serve papers out on me and take me to court or even jail? Please help I am so scare and do not know what to do. I do not want to give them my new account info and they tell me they don't have a mailing address to give me so I can send them a money order. They are very rude and they are scaring the crap out of me. They all are intenet loans from other states and I live in North Carolina.
Well, here's the scoop. Payday lending is illegal in the state o
Well, here's the scoop. Payday lending is illegal in the state of NC and the small loan interest rate cap is 36%.
None of your lenders are legal.
AdavanceMeToday you have overpaid by $312. They owe you.
PayDayMax-borrow you owe 45.69.
UnitedCash Loan owes you $150.
500FastCash borrow you owe $100.
GreatSky you owe $250.
DJR Group borrow you owe $100.
America Web Loan you owe $400.
Fastcash Advance you owe $35.
You need to send all of these people unlicensed lender letters like what you'll find here. You need to get a physical address from them to mail any payment due. You should only pay via money order or certified funds and keep all receipts. You need to ask those that you have overpaid for a refund. You need to file complaints with the NC Attorney General's office and the FTC.
Why are individuals the only good guys here?
Seems a bit odd that people take loans out with an intent to default on them only to be told "those places were illegal'.
Well if you take money from the mob you don't run to the police about it when they come for collection.
I've yet to see a PDL company forcibly give someone money, take them to the store make them spend it, then demand interest on it.
Perhaps some of the moderators here have.
another beauty
boy oh boy another humanoid/shill/bobo.be still my heart.:rolleyes::rolleyes: back to the phones you go as i'm not gonna dignify you further than that.

As a matter of fact, we have.
Take a look at the countless posts where people have had money deposited into their accounts without ever applying for a loan with the depositor ($200 for instance). Then, that company will withdraw a $50 bi-weekly "rollover" fee for months. The "loan" will be paid off more than 10X over and yet the "lender" will still want the full $250 to pay off the loan "as agreed."
The catch is that these companies are nearly impossible to get in touch with in order to follow their rule of notifying them that you want to pay off the loan at your next pay date. If you can't reach them, they can just keep taking that fee until you have to close your account to stop them. Then, they have the nerve to come after you threatening jail, calling your home, cell, work and references - - threatening your job, etc.
All of these acts are illegal.
Even if someone actually applied for the loan, is it unreasonable to expect to pay back the amount you borrowed plus a little interest, only to find out that that $100 you've been paying every two weeks for a year hasn't been applied to the principal of your loan? How would you react when you realized you'd paid $2600 on a $200 loan and that the company that "loaned" the money still wants you to pay $250 more to pay it off?
Then you find out that the company is offshore, not licensed to do business anywhere in the U.S., AND has been harassing people at home, work and also harassing their friends and families? Oh, and also, after being sent cease and desist orders from various Attornies General, they continue to make loans, evn after being sent revocation letters, they continue to clean out people's bank accounts?
Get the facts before you start blathering about "if people would just pay their bills..."
You're full of it. You don't know what you're talking about.
Suck it!
