how does this company randomly pick people

:(:-xI never received any papers or anything from this company but, just received an email on my credit monitoring company claiming that this company filled a judgement with my name on it when I do nto even know who or what these people or company are or do. Is this legal to falsly file judements on poeple who have never dealt with them. According to the BBB this company has a record of complaints and false judgements. any input would be appreciated.

No company can secure a judgment order against you without filing a case against you. So, are you sure that no case was filed against you in the recent past? Visit the county court office and check whether a judgment order has been issued against you.

Hi,

I think it is best for you to check with your county court if there are any lawsuits filed against you. If there are, you will have to try and find out for which particular debt this lawsuit is and who has filed this lawsuit against you.

However, if there aren't any lawsuits against you, you should know that the judgment you is nothing but a scam by any of the junk debt buyers trying to get some money from you.

Other than this, even if there is a judgment, you can file a claim to void this judgment because the company suing is is first supposed to serve you the legal papers.
