I have 3 payday loans and i could not keep paying the interest. i moved to another bank to stop the payments. hoping to work something out. are these legal in georgia if they are on a reservation? can they come after me? I have probaly paid back the original loan with interest payments and then some.

We need more information to help you. Which companies sent money to you, how much did you borrow, how much have you paid back, were they all internet loans, are they all on reservations?

first off no "tribal loan" can do anything they threaten.go to the sticky titled DEALING WITH ILLEGAL LENDERS at the top of the payday loan help forum.it has everything from template letters.to complaint forms.follow the sticky,and you will be fine.btw whebn they threaten garnishment they mean wage assignment.that is voluntary,and revocable.there is a template letter for that in the sticky as well.
