I just got a call from my sister and she is a mommy again. She has another baby girl. They named her Alexis Lynne and she weighed 8lbs 10 ozs and 21 1/2 inches long. Yipee :D :D I am an aunt again. Just thought I would share it with friends in the community.

Wow, Ari, you also have a good news for us. :D You have a new job to begin from Monday, and a special addition in your entire family tree.

Brat, July is toooo far... Ask your sister to come to your place and you will take care of the baby. Let the happiness shower from all ends.. :D

That's right! My brother's marriage made my family just about double in size. He's 23, his wife and I became instant friends after her introduced us, she has 3 kids from a previous marriage, and since she's an only child, I won the much coveted title of favourite aunt by default, those kiddos were climbing me like a jungle gym over Christmas! Same on my husband's side of the family over in Denmark, his older brother's wife is an only child, so there again, favourite aunt by default and two little Danish-speaking kids taking painting lessons from me in my in-laws kitchen. So much fun!

Hi Everyone! It's Valentines Day! That means today my sister-in-law has just given birth to my new neice Seraphina! It is also my dad's birthday, he's 52 and also doing well to keep the years off! How did my and Mr. Nielsen celebrate V-day do you ask? Well, we attended a small firearm safety class, then went practice-shooting on the range with the instructor! Pretty unique isn't it? Back up North where I used to live people would make such a fuss of me shooting a gun, down here in Florida it's no big whoop. It was kind of fun!

Actually, my old boss was in the marine corps for 20-some years...one day I was cleaning something and I was curled up in this crazy position (you know what yoga does for ya....makes you flexible) and he immediately called me over to the supervisor's desk...he told me to sit on the ground...then he called over another supervisor, who was also in the military and on the swat team...they ended up putting me into olympic rifle shooting position and URGED me to take up shooting....LOL....since I was so flexible! It was hilarious, and a little humiliating....

Hahahaha.....I guess I DO have a couple good memories from that place :)

Yeah, so do I. It wasn't all bad, One time, because the office is to old to install a proper paging system, the manager was running willy-nilly all over the office shouting the admin girl's name because he was looking for her, her name is Leia. Ok, I was in mid-hangup with an answering machine, which was still recording when he burst in the room and yelled "LEIA!"
I told him how the debtor now has that on his recorder! Now they're going to think that either we're watching Star Wars loudly or we're also running a trailer park! He got me into converation about my being a Sar Wars nut and started firing all sort of Star Wars trivia questions at me. He actually had me go onto google to find out the name of Carrie Fisher's mother! Some funny times!
