asking for verification of address to serve
Date: Mon, 06/20/2011 - 09:05
I got a call from 810-844-1072 this morning (four calls actually) and 2 voicemails. It is a Mary Burns who says she needs to verify my address and place of employment in order to serve me. The number she asks to call is 888-530-3668. She never says what the company name is but I saw a post on here that it is called Worldwide Collections.
Do I ignore or return the call and ask for debt validation? If this is legitimate, is this how it really would go?

the lady broke the law
since worlwide is a bottomfeeder yes demand something in writing.btw by stating what she stated she broke the law as real process servers never call in advance period.before you call them back to demand at leat a letter research your state laws in regard to recording calls, because i practically guarantee you will be harrassed, and threatened.you need that on tape in case you want to take action against them.
I guess it's a scam. You need not to worry regarding this matter
