I've recieved a phone call at work asking if there was a procedure for giving me a summons, then they gave me a number to call with in two hour, that maybe they can give me the summon at a different location. I asked the guy John if he could send me a copy of the creditor name and amount that I owe he said he will see what he can do. I've looked them up in the internet and nothing, I went into his website that he gave me and nothing. Am I being scam?

Refusal to give you any information, demanding money "in the next two hours" and threatening that they will send someone to your place of business to serve you with a summons are all shady tactics used by these agencies. Do NOT give these people any personal information about you. Do NOT verify anything. Tell them to send you something in writing, or go screw themselves.

as you stated.you googled and found nothing on them, but you found us.you should be able to find anyplace on google.as far as other sources go.your AG website has licensee databases for lenders and collectors.however if a google search brings up nothing then assume it's a complete scam.do as OHIOGAL1 advised and do keep us posted.
