How long does Mark Walsh take to do a judgment after his initial letter of letting you know that he now has your account? What percentage does he usually settle for? I have $23,600 in debt.

I have personally not worked with Mark Walsh. So, I won't be able to tell you how much he usually settles for. But I do know that it is not easy to secure a judgment against a consumer. He has to file a lawsuit against you first. After if he wins the case, then he may obtain a judgment against you.

I suggest you send a validation of debt letter to Mr. Walsh. If he is able to validate the debt, then make him an offer to try to settle the account. A general rule of thumb for settlements is to expect to pay 40-60% of the balance. This depends on a number of things.

Are you disputing the debt?
