i bounced a check for $800 to best buy and i'm getting letters from TRS. What will happen if I don't pay? I'm currently collecting unemployment.

Yup, what he said. you can be charged with "theft by check" which could be a felony or misdemenor depending on your juristiction. I criminal record could really hurt you from getting a job.
