Welcome to the Forums!
You can contact the attorney (representing the plaintiff) and try to sort out this mess. You can inform him/her that you want to pay off the debt in full. However, you should repay the debt fully only when they agree to withdraw the case from the court.
Warrant in debt
Hi,
As you have got the warrant in debt, it is important for you to file your answer to the summons. Otherwise, the creditor who had filed the case against you may win a default judgment against you.
As for the debt, you can always contact the attorney to pay off your debt. Talk to the attorney that you would like to pay off the debt in full and get a written agreement on that. However, as Nelly has said, you should repay the debt only if the creditor agrees to withdraw the case that they had filed against you.
Thanks,
