Date: Mon, 06/27/2011 - 10:49
It took me too long to decide to deal with this. A quick google search "in payday loan hell" brougt me to this sight, and I hope you guys have some advice for me. First, let me list the loans I have:
PayDayOne
PayDayMax
Ace Cash Express
CashNet USA
Flobridge
Cash Central
Storefront loans: All of these in Lebanon, MO
Check Casher
Advance America
Missouri Loans
Quik Cash
I have been constantly paying off, renewing, paying off, renewing one to pay the other for literally years and it's sucking away all my income. I feel so foolish and my wife and I fight about this situation alot but I just don't know what to do. I thank any/everyone in advance for any advice/help they have to offer. I need my life back!

The others are all legitimate loans.

Okay, what do I do with the ones that aren't licensed? Do I need to close my bank account?

Okay called DoF
I called them and apparently cashcentral is legit, but the other two were confirmed as unlicensed. She advised closing the account, so that's what I'm going to do. I hate to do it, I've had this account for 8 years, but it seems like it's the only way. I was advised to simply contact each lender and make a payment arrangement with them. Does that sound about right? Is there anything else I should do?
Sounds like the right plan. Good luck and keep us posted on yo

Got the account closed
The accounts rep acted like she had never heard of a "hard block" for ach. She told me at first that "they don't do anything like that", to which I replied the Missouri Division of Finance told me you might say that and I was told to not accept no for an answer. So she made a call down to data processing and was talking to someone about coding, then she walked down the hall and talked to someone else, then came back and said it was taken care of. God I hope she wasn't lying.
