I went to court today against Forster & Garbus today for a credit card debt. When i received the summons back in February 2010 i replied to the company and court never heard back from either. I live in Erie county. I then called April 1,2011 and the court said it would be dismissed April 22,2011. Thought all was fine until May 24.2011 and they said there would be a pre-trail June29,2011 well i went and the lawyer from Forster and Garbus could not perduce original signed contract in which i asked and the the judge turned around and gave them 30 days to perduce it. I think this was wrong and my case should have been dismissed. Does any one know what i can do now. Please help

Hi!
Welcome to the Forums!

Looks like the case is going in your favor, which is good. The court has given them 30 days to produce the original contract. So, you you need to wait till that time and see whether or not they can really produce it. I don't feel that they will be able to produce it. In the mean time, you sit and talk with your attorney and chalk out a plan to deal with the case.
