I don't believe this should be on my credit report

I was driving a rental car and totalled the rental. I was not the one who rented the car nor did i sign any contracts as a driver for this rental car and the person who rented the car did not have accidental insurance on the car. Should this be on my credit report even though I didn't sign any paperwork for this rental car?

If you did not sign any documents or paperwork, then it should not be there on your credit report. However, there is no harm in checking your credit report once.

As you didn't signed any paperwork, this shouldn't be mentioned in your credit report. It will be mentioned in the credit report of the person who rented the car or signed the paperwork.
