wfnnb/express credit card

Hi there,
My Express credit card was included in a bankruptcy that was discharged in 2001. Much to my dismay, last week I discovered 3 different reports from the credit reporting agencies:
In the first credit report, Express/WFNNB reported my payments 180 days late until May 2009. The account then shows as "closed by creditor's request" in June and appears as closed until now.
On the second report, the Express/WFNNB card appears as a negative item with a small note on the bottom (that is apparently not visible on inquiries) to say the debt was included in a 2001 bankruptcy. It also says that this negative item will appear until 2014, 13 years after the bankruptcy discharge.
The third credit reporting agency does not report anything from Express/WFNNB at all.
I disputed the first two reports and have already heard back from Experian, I think, who has verified the false delinquencies with the creditor, so there it remains. Still waiting to hear from the other reporting agency.
I'm not sure what my next steps should be. It seems these guys are repeat offenders of slimy reporting practices and I'd love to watch them die slowly. I mean, it's partly my fault for not checking, but I've had false reports in my credit history since 2001. I have a copy of the final bankruptcy discharge, but not the individual items. Because the Express card actually appears on one of my credit reports as part of a bankruptcy, is this sufficient evidence that it was discharged? I'm not really sure how I need to go about fighting these people or what my next step is. Any help is appreciated.

Hi!
Welcome to the Forums!
You have done the right thing by disputing the account status with the 2 credit bureaus. The 3 credit bureau is ought to give you a reply within 30-45 days of receiving the dispute letter. So, you need to wait for a few days more. You should have checked your credit report much earlier. By the way, what was the reply of Experian?
Reply from Experian
I don't have the exact reply with me, but basically it said that there was no issue, that the report was correct. There were no changes to my report and the negative item will remain there.
