Listing on credit report

I just signed up to monitor my credit reports and there is a collection account from Medicredit in teh amount of $1,733 (now increased to $1,791). I have no knowledge of this debt. Who can I discuss with?

You should contact Medicredit regarding this issue. I think one of your accounts have been assigned to them. You can send a debt validation letter in writing to them. If the debt is validated, then you can negotiate a settlement with them. Ask them to update the account status as "Paid as Settled" or "Paid as Agreed" after settling the debt.
