:( OK, I did go to these for quick money to keep utilities in the winter..UCL i got 300 back in Nov 2010 its July 2011 and 800 dollards later and i'm still scheduled to have money taken out out...with one click cash a 400 loan went up to over 600!...i will be putting a hard debit block on my account and then will close it and reopen a new one I already filed with the FTC, neither one is licensed in Tennesse...so what is my next step..need further quidence...help

I think, you are talking about payday loan. Payday lending is legal in Tennessee. You can contact with the Tennessee Department of Financial Institutions and file a complaint against them. If they are not licensed to operate in your state, then you will be liable to pay only the principal amount without any interests and other fees. Illegal payday lenders don???t have any right to take any legal action against you.

go to the sticky titled(dealing with illegal lenders) in the paydayloan help forum.it has all the info you need.especially the part about closing/securing your account.go to the sticky, and follow it do not skip steps.if you have already paid back the principle then you owe nothing.in fact they owe you.secure/close that account before anything else.
